This Privacy Policy describes how Fuse Networks ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use QR-Pro ("the Service") at qrkent.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information (provided by you)

Business name, website, business address
Profile photo (optional)
Social media links (LinkedIn, Facebook — optional)
Scheduling preferences, specialties, marketing document links
Password (stored as a bcrypt hash, never in plain text)

Activity Data (generated through use)

Referrals submitted (company, contact, notes)
Testimonials written
Visitation logs (dates and member pairings)
Closed business reports (including dollar amounts)
Meeting attendance records

Technical Data (collected automatically)

IP address (logged for security auditing)
Activity logs (login times, actions taken)
Browser type and device information (via Vercel Analytics — aggregated, not personally identifiable)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Operate and maintain the Service
Display your profile in the member directory
Deliver referral, testimonial, and closed business notifications
Send meeting summaries and announcements
Generate reports and analytics for administrators
Verify your identity (email verification, password resets)
Monitor system security and prevent abuse
Improve the Service based on usage patterns

4. Information Visibility

Your data has different visibility levels within the Service:

Visible to all members: Name, business name, email, phone, website, profile photo, specialties, scheduling preferences, social links, marketing documents link, business address.

Visible to you and admins only: Exact closed business dollar amounts, your activity logs, your password (hashed — not readable by anyone).

Visible to involved parties and admins: Referral details (submitter, recipient, and admins only). Testimonial content (writer, subject, and admins).

Visible to admins only: IP addresses, full activity logs, system reports, user management data.

5. Data Storage & Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information:

Encryption in transit: All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
Password security: Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text
Database security: Hosted on Turso with authenticated access controls
Hosting: Application hosted on Vercel (United States)
Session management: Secured via NextAuth.js with JWT tokens
Access control: Role-based permissions (member, superuser, admin)

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

QR-Pro uses minimal browser storage:

Session cookies: Required for authentication (NextAuth.js). These are essential cookies and cannot be disabled while using the Service.
Theme preference: Your light/dark/system choice is saved in localStorage as "qr-pro-theme". This is stored locally on your device and not transmitted to our servers.
Vercel Analytics: Privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics. No personally identifiable information is collected. No third-party tracking cookies.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking, or cross-site tracking of any kind.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on the following third-party providers:

Vercel: Application hosting and serverless functions (United States)
Turso: Database hosting (United States)
SMTP2GO: Transactional email delivery

Each provider processes data according to their own privacy policies. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

Active accounts: Data is retained for the duration of your active membership
Deactivated accounts: Profile data is hidden from the directory. Historical activity records (referrals, testimonials) may be retained for group reporting integrity
Deleted accounts: Upon request, personal data will be deleted. Aggregate or anonymized data may be retained
Security logs: IP addresses and activity logs are retained for up to 12 months
Email tokens: Verification and password reset tokens expire automatically (24 hours and 60 minutes respectively) and are marked as used

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access: View all personal data we hold about you (via your profile and reports)
Correct: Update your profile information at any time via My Profile
Delete: Request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting an administrator
Export: Request a copy of your data by contacting an administrator
Restrict: Request that we limit how we use your data

10. Children's Privacy

QR-Pro is intended for use by adults (18 years and older) in a business networking context. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information, we will take steps to delete that information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently revised.
